Frequently asked questions.
Who are you?
I’m Katie Muller, a real estate photographer based along the Connecticut shoreline. Since 2019, I’ve partnered with agents to create refined, impactful imagery that captures the true character of each property. With an education from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, I bring both technical precision and an artistic eye to every shoot.
I strive to provide a seamless & stress-free experience from start to finish, ensuring each session feels effortless for both agents and homeowners. When you work with me, you receive a level of service that matches the quality of the homes you represent.
What is the photoshoot booking Process like?
To begin, please contact me via email with the details of the shoot you’re looking to book. I review each inquiry and follow up to discuss the services best suited to your needs. A deposit is then collected to reserve your session and applied toward your final balance. Once confirmed, we’ll schedule a date and time, meet on-site for the shoot, and I’ll take care of the rest. Your finished images will be delivered within 24 hours of the session.
What areas do you travel?
Based in New Haven, Connecticut, I primarily serve New Haven County. I also happily travel to some of Fairfield and Middlesex County to accommodate select projects. Feel free to ask about any areas, as I do commute further with a travel fee added to the service.
How do I receive my photos?
Your finished images will be delivered in a link for easy access, and I can to provide them in PDF format upon request.
What should I do before my photoshoot?
As your photographer, I collaborate closely with both the agent and the homeowner, offering on-site guidance to ensure every space is presented at its best for photography. To achieve the best photos, I recommend that all household clutter and personal items be thoughtfully removed or concealed prior to the shoot.
How do you take payments?
I offer secure payment through Square using a debit or credit card. An invoice is provided for each transaction, ensuring everything is clear and available for your records.
“We forgot to take ____ out of the photos!!”
I offer professional retouching as part of my post-production services. Minor refinements—such as small details that may have gone unnoticed during the shoot—are included at no additional cost. More extensive edits can be accommodated for an additional fee, determined by the edits necessary and number of images requiring adjustment.
